Optical Dome Ring by Poul Warmind, Denmark
This amazing ring is like nothing you've ever seen before. Its polished concave interior reflects and distorts the picket fence bezel and mesmerizes as it appears to spin when in motion.
18k gold ring with 750 Danish hallmark - 18k. Gemstone unknown. Poul Warmind - Denmark 1949 to 1983 Poul Warmind is known as a skilled metalsmith who worked in Denmark beginning in the 1960s. His workshop was located in a small town called Kirke Såby. He is widely recognized for the Modernist designs he produced in various metals and the impressive matte finish that he developed for use on his enameled designs. Warmind was trained as a goldsmith in the renowned A. Dragsted workshop. He went on to open two shops of his own in Copenhagen, where he worked not only in gold but also in silver, bronze, and pewter. He eventually discontinued gold jewelry production, citing it as being “too speculative,” as noted in a “JCK Magazine” article by Ginger Moro, who also authored the book “European Designer Jewelry.”
