Take this rare opportunity to learn one-on-one from a celebrated master goldsmith with 55 years of experience at the bench. German trained Alan Revere, winner of three lifetime achievement awards, offers private lessons in his own studio. 
 
Build skills while sitting at Alan's bench and using his personal tools, both modern and antique. You can add new techniques, gain valuable tips, and learn trade tricks in areas such as soldering, fitting, texturing, forging, assembly, fabrication, riveting, granulation, stone setting, and more. Private sessions are open to all levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals.
 
There are several ways to work with Alan. You can choose from hundreds of projects in Alan’s personal archive including chains, rings, earrings, bracelets, clasps, mechanisms, hinges, settings, etc. Or pick and choose to replicate the foundational projects from either of Alan's books, Professional Jewelry Making or Professional Stonesetting. And, you can bring your own personal jewelry projects to work on and solve problems with Alan’s help. 
 
Each session is 3 hours long and can be scheduled weekly for those who live in the Bay Area. Lessons can also be planned for twice a day, a few days in a row, for visitors to the area, whichever meets your needs and availability. 
 
All tools and non-precious materials are provided. Silver and gold are available as well.
